Golden Apple Award
Location: South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia
Date: 2009-2010 School Year
Congratulations to our 2009-2010 Golden Apple Teacher of the Year!
BI-LO and WYFF 4 would like to thank you for making it possibile to recognize special teachers that went above and beyond in the classroom this year. Through your nominations, many deserving teachers received confirmation that their efforts to make a difference in the lives of their students does not go without notice or impact.
Each week during the 2009-10 School Year, an area teacher was selected to receive the Golden Apple Award and profiled on Thursdays on WYFF News 4. These weekly winners were selected from your nominations by a panel of judges. At the end of the school year, four Finalists and a Teacher of the Year were chosen from the weekly winners and the Teacher of the Year Award was presented at the Golden Apple Awards Banquet on May 11, 2010.
