Retail Veteran Assumes New Corporate Role At BI-LO

Kip Faulhaber's Promotion to be Effective Immediately.
GREENVILLE, S.C. BI-LO, LLC today is proud to announce the promotion of Kip Faulhaber from Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to Vice President of Sales at the Mauldin-based grocery retailer. This change is effective immediately.
Faulhaber, who joined BI-LO in April of this year, brings extensive experience in merchandising, marketing, procurement and operations with more than thirty years of experience in the grocery industry to his position. In his new role, Faulhaber will handle all the strategic coordination of sales efforts for BI-LO.
Previously he handled the analysis of the company’s competitors, developed business processes and targeted marketing programs, as well as overseeing the in-store execution of his planning. Prior to joining BI-LO, Faulhaber served as Vice President of Center Store Merchandising for Minyard Foods in Dallas and was the Director of Center Store Merchandising for Southern Family Markets in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s also worked as the Director of Procurement with C&S in Keene, New Hampshire.
Beginning his career in the grocery industry as a sales clerk for Acme Markets in Philadelphia during college, Faulhaber has held every type of position within a grocery store from a Store Manager, Buyer and Merchandiser to a Marketing Director and Director of Store Operations.
